Shane Baldwin Utah Discusses Silverleaf Financial.

Salt Lake City based SilverLeaf Financial is a private equity firm that purchases pools of non-performing, first deed of trust, notes from the FDIC for the purpose of prompt monetization.

(I-Newswire) February 4, 2010 – Salt Lake City, UT –SilverLeaf Financial (silverleaf-financial.com) was just awarded another loan pool from the latest FDIC offering, Security Pacific Bank. Pool 85 contains 3 loans with a total face value amount of $11.9 Million, and an aggregate appraised value of $17.5 Million.

SilverLeaf Financial was also recently awarded two loan pools from the Silver State Bank offering. Pool 20 consists of 1 loan with a face value amount of $6.15 Million, and an appraised value of $8.7 Million. Pool 150 contains 4 loans with a total face value amount of $9 Million, and an aggregate appraised value of $15.2 Million. Therefore, the aggregate face and appraised values for both pools are $15.15 Million and nearly $24 Million respectively.

Prior to making a bid to purchase pools from within an FDIC offering, the SilverLeaf Financial team thoroughly underwrites, and carefully analyzes each loan in order to determine the value in a potential acquisition. Pools that do not fit the SilverLeaf criteria for profitability are not bid upon. Those pools that are selected and bid upon for purchase have an associated plan of action ready for implementation. This ensures prompt liquidation once the bid award is obtained. The SilverLeaf team of experts carries a reputation for their exceptional evaluation and assessment prowess, including the capacity to efficiently and effectively complete the workout process. This allows them the foundation from which they can provide security for their investors with a substantial return on their investment.

From the time they entered this niche-oriented venture in early 2008, SilverLeaf has placed 87 bids with the FDIC, having been awarded 11 pools consisting of 17 loans. Seven of those eleven acquired pools have been worked out successfully, and one other is currently under contract to be refinanced. “All things considered, it’s remarkable the progress SilverLeaf has made relative to the current market conditions. We’ve found a niche-oriented alleyway within the financial marketplace that has proved to be very profitable, despite the economic recession,” says Trevor Linton, SilverLeaf’s Director of Acquisitions.

Dwight Shane Baldwin, SilverLeaf’s founder and CEO, goes on to say, “Within the current state of the market, we have discovered a method to do that which most should do, but haven’t been able to, in buying low and selling high.”

Shane Baldwin makes generous donation.

Private equity firm’s principal makes donation to world-wide adoption effort.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) August 16, 2011 Shane Baldwin of SilverLeaf Financial recently made a generous donation to the “Both Ends Burning” Campaign. The campaign addresses creating a better international adoption system so more orphaned and abandoned children can grow up in loving families.

Millions of children in the world today are orphaned or abandoned. They are facing unmet needs, emotional and intellectual challenges and even permanent damage. In many countries, international adoption programs are shutting down. Would-be parents face delays, expenses and bureaucracy under the existing inefficient system, while the number of orphans continues to grow.

Baldwin said, ”I wanted to make a donation to a cause I felt strongly about. I was adopted myself, by a terrific family. So by supporting this effort to improve the adoption system, I’m able to give back and positively impact the lives of other orphaned children.”

The world-wide campaign provides an alternative common-sense solution to replace the current process. What is needed is a new international adoption system that works to match waiting children with eligible families in a time frame measured in a few months, not several years.

Both Ends Burning founder and President, Craig Juntunen leads the campaign’s effort to build a social movement to enact real and lasting change for the worlds orphaned and abandoned children. The campaign stresses that our efforts on behalf of the world’s parentless children are only possible with help from others. “We should be proud of what we are accomplishing for these most vulnerable children . . . together.” said Juntunen.

“We’ve had one of these before, when the dot-com bubble burst. What I told our company was that we were just going to invest our way through the downturn, that we weren’t going to lay off people, that we’d taken a tremendous amount of effort to get them into Apple in the first place – the last thing we were going to do is lay them off.”

“My job is to not be easy on people. My job is to make them better.”

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.”

“It comes from saying no to 1,000 things to make sure we don’t get on the wrong track or try to do too much.”

“I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”

“The cure for Apple is not cost-cutting. The cure for Apple is to innovate its way out of its current predicament.”

search engine optimization

“Innovation has nothing to do with how many R&D dollars you have. When Apple came up with the Mac, IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R&D. It’s not about money. It’s about the people you have, how you’re led, and how much you get it.”

search engine optimization

“It’s not about pop culture, and it’s not about fooling people, and it’s not about convincing people that they want something they don’t. We figure out what we want. And I think we’re pretty good at having the right discipline to think through whether a lot of other people are going to want it, too. That’s what we get paid to do.
We just want to make great products. (I think he means “insanely great products!“)”

“That happens more than you think, because this is not just engineering and science. There is art, too. Sometimes when you’re in the middle of one of these crises, you’re not sure you’re going to make it to the other end. But we’ve always made it, and so we have a certain degree of confidence, although sometimes you wonder.

searchengine optimization company   Still here? OK back to work then.

Lets start with using the <META> Tag, so that Google finds your site:)

No matter what you may hear, meta tags are still a basic right in search engine optimization. Our friends at Google still love when you place mata tags into your html code. Below we have added a few tips to get you started with basic tags. You will implement these meta tags between your <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags.

1).Meta Browser Title is 2 to 3 of your most competitive keywords. No more then 3. Do your best to limit the titles to 63 characters. Don’t keyword stuff. Also, don’t use your company name in your meta title. This is what your index page and logo is for when “branding” your company name. Make sure that your meta title mirrors the content on your page. If my content for one of my blogs is Social Media Marketing: Word of Mouth Advertising on caffeine” and my meta title says Nike’s|Running Shoes|Athletic Shoes, then im misleading and my traffic metrics will suffer. I want clicks to keep coming and a misleading meta title isn’t the way to go. Keep it concise and conceptual. AND RELEVANT!!!

search engine optimization

2).Then your description tag defines the description of your site: <META NAME=”Description” CONTENT=”Your description goes here”>

Google will use this description when your results show up in their search engine. An example of our meta data description is as follows.

“We provide strategic search engine optimization(seo)and Internet marketing for all local and nationwide businesses.”This description along with our browser title have attained us front page Google status nation wide with you type into Google, nationwide seo as your search. Always keep your characters under 160 when implementing into your tag. Stay search engine friendly.

3). This <META> tag defines one or more of your keywords. GOOGLE uses these keywords to match your page with keywords entered by google users when searching for your products and services. <META NAME=”Keywords” Content=”keyword a, keyword b, keyword c, etc. “>

Make sure you are using lower case keywords and make sure you are minimizing the length of your content.  Don’t be doing any keyword stuffing at all. This is blackhatseo. BarkingFrogSEO uses no more then 4 keywords in our Meta Tags. If your pages are on only 1 or 2 topics, then you will have no need to stuff keywords. Keep your content, meta tags, keywords all relevant to each page you are working on. Keep those searching for your strategic content engaged and wanting more.
